We were delighted with our stay at Sweet Pea – parking was easy, pick up was very well guided and clear instructions given. The house itself was delightful and very well situated. We would happily stay here again! From the well furnished and supplied kitchen/dinner, to the two generously sized bedrooms, we were overall very impressed with the cottage. Couple of ideas to go from 10/10 to 11/10, we would have appreciated a full length mirror somewhere in the house, and we would have loved curtains in the upstairs bedroom, but these are so minor that we only mention them to be helpful. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This Spanish-style cottage at the end of a cul-de-sac in upper Seaside is a true sanctuary: set in a lovingly tended garden with burbling fountains amid magnolia and begonia, roses, succulents, and flowering vines.
French doors open to a patio (with lounge chairs, a table with an umbrella, and a barbecue) that’s bound to be your second living room on sunny days. Inside, there’s a King bed, a bath with a shower, a breakfast nook, and a kitchenette (two burner cooktop, microwave, and under counter refrigerator). An electric fireplace will keep you warm and cozy, and DirectTV (with sports packages) will keep you entertained.
The cottage is located to the right of the main residence on a fully-fenced lot (you may be greeted by Ozzie and Pedro, the owner’s two very friendly dogs). Perfect for monthly or extended stays, there’s easy access to Highway 1 and 68 if you’re commuting, and it’s just a few miles from the ocean, downtown Monterey and Fisherman’s Wharf. And when you need a latte – or don’t feel like cooking – Seaside’s numerous restaurants and cafes are right down the hill: fast food and diners plus Thai, Chinese, Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, sushi and Starbucks.
Tucked away on a quiet residential street in upper Seaside, the interior of this tract home will surprise you: the walls are resplendent with original art created by the owner, a renowned fused glass artist.
There’s a lovely backyard with tables and chairs for sunning or dining, along with a large gas barbecue.
The cozy living room has a TV/DVD, and the combination kitchen/dining room has a stainless gas range, dishwasher, and a side-by-side refrigerator.
The master (with a King bed) has a private powder room, and there’s a full bath in the hall with a tub/shower combination.
From this location it’s just a short drive to the beach and to Seaside’s revitalized downtown (check out the Saturday Farmer’s Market).
And when you don’t feel like cooking, Seaside’s many restaurants run the gamut from gourmet Italian to authentic Mexican cuisine (and everything in between).

This vintage beach house is nestled in the Asilomar dunes area on two acres of lovingly restored native sand dune habitat. Set back from the road, it enjoys spectacular unobstructed views of the Pacific, crashing surf, sunsets and moonsets. Away from city lights and traffic, the nighttime sounds are those of wind, waves and the occasional sleepy cries of sea birds and sea lions.
The living room, sunroom, and kitchen have full ocean and sand dune views allowing one to observe the ever-varying parade of wildlife: whales, sea lions, sea otters, pelicans, cormorants, shore birds, black-tailed deer and more. A private enclosed back yard with bird feeders and baths provides a sanctuary for resident and migratory species.
The home is steps to rocky and sandy beaches, walking and biking trails, and is mid-way between the Pacific Grove municipal and Spanish Bay golf courses. The ambiance is intimate, cozy and comfortable with an open floor plan, hardwood flooring and Persian carpets, original signed artwork, and handcrafted driftwood furniture and carvings.
Two upstairs bedrooms each have Queen sized beds. The second bedroom is adjacent to a full bathroom; another full bathroom is located on the ground floor.
The sunroom is an ideal place to stretch out, read and relax as well as to dine and entertain. Amenities include a home theater system, WiFi and cable, flat panel TVs with Roku, Amazon Prime and Netflix video streaming, DVD players, and a video library.
